At Lees Hall Golf Club, our Captains play a central role in representing the Club and its members, both on and off the course. Each year, the Men’s and Ladies’ Captains are proud to uphold the traditions of the Club, support a wide variety of golfing and social events, and act as ambassadors for our warm and friendly membership.
The Captains also select their chosen charity for the year, with the support of members helping to raise valuable funds through competitions and fundraising events. Their commitment reflects the spirit of Lees Hall – a Club that combines competitive golf with a strong sense of community.
Below you’ll find a personal message from both our Men’s and Ladies’ Captains, offering their welcome to members, guests, and visitors alike.
It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as Captain for 2026.
Our golf course provides a true test for players of all abilities. While it can be demanding in places, our members and visitors consistently tell us it is a fair, enjoyable, and rewarding course to play.
Lees Hall is made special by the people who support it every day: our dedicated catering team in the clubhouse, our Head PGA Professional Michael Ramsden and his staff in the pro shop, our hardworking Greens team, our Club Manager, and of course our members.
Our clubhouse offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both members and visitors, with an excellent function suite available for private events.
As Captain for 2026 at Lees Hall Golf Club, I’ve chosen the Addison’s Disease Self-Help Group as my charity of the year. This cause holds a very personal place in my heart. My sister, Emma, was diagnosed with Addison’s nearly ten years ago, and while she manages the condition every single day, the journey hasn’t been easy. For more information about my chosen charity, please visit my Just Giving Page.
By supporting this charity, I hope to raise awareness of this rare disease and to generate funds for an organisation that has offered invaluable support to Emma and many others living with Addison’s.
Enjoy your time at Lees Hall Golf Club.
My chosen charity as Lady Captain 2026 is Guide Dogs for the Blind. Having seen how life‑changing sight loss can be, I know the support of a guide dog helps people live fully. I hope members and friends of Lees Hall GC will join me in supporting this charity via my Just Giving Page.
